About Me

Jo is a retired swimming lecturer and instructor.  After many years teach swimming and teaching new swimming instructors, Jo retired with her husband Robert to the her childhood village, Binstead, Isle of Wight.  

As well as having many articles published about Swimming Teaching , she has written books about teaching swimming. However her retirement from the pool has give her time to engage in her passion of writing.  So far tiles includes Isle of Memories a memoir about her childhood on the Island and And so the story goes.  This book sees Jo delving into her family history to find a principal singer for the D'oyly Carte Opera company and letters from the Great War.   

The Red sky is her first novel and interwoven with stories and tales she has heard from other people who experienced childhood on the island during 1940.  As soon as the proof for The Red Sky was approved, Jo was back in her office writing her next novel - watch this space!
